Dax Ward - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dax has over 20 years experience in electronics and more specifically interconnection products. After serving an apprenticeship after leaving school, Dax gained the BTEC HND qualifictaion in micro-electronics. He went on to work for Radiatron and world leading connector manufacturer JST. He came back to St Cross Electronics in 1998 with the view to creating a management buy out with Adrian Jukes. This was successful in 2003.

Dax is married, with one child and enjoys racing cars and skiing as a hobby.





Adrian Jukes - PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

Adrian has over 25 years experience in the electronics and interconnect field, he joined St Cross Electronics in the mid 1980's and worked his way up to Engineering Manager soon after. His expertise is finding solutions for customers at the design stage. In 2003 he also completed the management buy out with Dax.

Adrian lives with his girlfriend and has a passion for old automotive engineering. Some restorations include a 1959 Austin Healey Sprite and a 1972 VW campervan.





Martin Jerrett - QUALITY MANAGER

Martin joined us in April 2011. Martin has a wealth of experience with over 18 years experience at IBM in Portsmouth and most recently at Crewsaver. His experience not only includes quality, but at Crewsaver he was General Manager. He has experience of lean manufacturing practices, something he will be introducing here at St Cross.

Martin is married with three children and has a love of restoring classic air guns.






Julia Cheskidova - ENGINEERING MANAGER

Julia has been with us for over 10 years. Julia initially worked on the shop floor gaining experience in the manufacture of cable looms. It soon became apparent that her skills could be utilised in the engineering department. Julia is responsible for producing drawings, approving customer drawings for production as well as planning all jobs for release to production.

Julia keeps fit by walking miles upon miles at weekends.






Warren Deacon - PRODUCTION MANAGER

Warren initially worked in accounts when he joined the company. As the company grew Warren moved into Purchasing and in 2010 took on the role of Production Manager. He runs a team of 20 operators and utilises an MRP package to ensure production is efficient for us and our customers.

Warren spends his time away from the business by DJ'ing at various venues in the area.






Ryan Pestell - MOTORSPORT ENGINEER

Ryan also joined the company in April 2011 and heads up the motorsport manufacturing cell. Ryan has many years of making high quality looms for top teams in both car and motorbike racing. His experience enables him to run a project from the idea through to installation on a vehicle.

Ryan has a passion for fast cars and has driven many laps round the Nordschleife in Germany.






Sarah Lacey - FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Sarah came back to St Cross in mid 2000's after leaving to have two children. Sarah originally joined the company in 1986 and worked in the accounts team. Sarah now heads up this team.

Sarah is married and has two children and loves the sunshine.







Agnieszka Solarek - ACCOUNTS - General and Purchase Ledger

Aggie joined the company back in 2004 and worked on the shop floor. Aggie has a masters degree in accountancy from Poland, so her skills were best used in the accounts department. She has received a diploma in her training to ACCA and is now part qualified; Aggie is working hard to achieve full qualification.

Aggie loves walking the countryside in her holiday time, especially the Lake District.
